CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-392 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 <br /> (ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR <br /> CITY STREETS) BY AMENDING SECTION 3 (STOP <br /> INTERSECTIONS) TO INSTATS. STOP SIGNS AT <br /> GREENWOOD ROAD AND CANARY DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted <br /> Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br /> Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended <br /> Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 5, 1989, the City <br /> Council discussed a request to install a stop sign <br /> on Greenwood Road at its intersection with Canary <br /> Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend <br /> Resolution No. 76-79 to add subsection 3g-4 to <br /> Section 3 (Stop Intersections); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br /> Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby <br /> amended by adding the following subsection to <br /> Section 3 (Stop Intersections): <br /> <br /> "3g-4 Greenwood Road, at Canary Drive; stopping <br /> traffic on Greenwood Road in both <br /> directions." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
