Fred Norman addressed the City Council concerning the Iraq war.

Michael O’Callaghan noted at the last meeting Council agonized over the Stoneridge
extension and said there was an attempt to put personal feelings and commitments aside.
He thanked each councilmember for arriving at the decision, which he felt was for the best
of the community.

Robert Allen said from 1974 to 1988 he represented the City on the BART Board and he
has been trying to get BART extended to Livermore, which would eliminate Pleasanton
cut-through traffic and provide easy access to the BART station. He urged the Council to
reconsider having LAVTA put an Express bus between the BART park n’ ride in Livermore
and the BART station.
