CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-386 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING EXTENDED SEASON OF <br /> OPERATION FOR THE AQUATIC CENTER AND <br /> APPROVAL OF LANE RENTAL FEE FOR SWIM TEAM <br /> USE OF FACILITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 5, 1989, Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Director of Parks and <br /> Community Services (SR 89:382) regarding the <br /> proposed extended season for the operation of the <br /> Aquatic Center and approval of a lane rental fee <br /> for the Swim Team use of the facility; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves extending the regular season of the <br /> Aquatic Center by approximately ten weeks; the <br /> extended season to be from the first Monday in <br /> February to the last Friday in October. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves a $2.50 per hour per lane fee for use of <br /> the Aquatic Center by community swim teams. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes amendment of the 1989-90 budget to <br /> appropriate $9,000 from the General Fund to pool <br /> operations and by increasing the projected revenue <br /> for the Department of Parks and Community Services <br /> by $2,925. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 5, 1989 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Peggy~/X. 6~z~dr~ <br /> Deputy City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS ~~J,~ <br />Michael H.
