EXHIBIT A <br /> TO <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> SALARY AND SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS <br /> FOR CITY MANAGER JAMES R. WALKER <br /> <br />1. The annual salary for City Manager James R. Walker is $95,696 <br /> commencing July 1, 1989. <br /> <br />2. City Manager James R. Walker shall have the option of several <br /> alternate deferred compensation plans, provided that in no <br /> event shall annual salary exceed $95,696 annually. <br /> <br />3. Supplementary Benefits: <br /> <br /> a. Medical. Fully paid premiums for the Kaiser "S" Plan <br /> with optical and prescription drug options. <br /> <br /> b. Post Retirement Medical Insurance. City Manager shall <br /> be entitled to same post retirement medical insurance <br /> benefits as provided other management employees as <br /> described in the City of Pleasanton Management and <br /> Confidential Compensation Plan Section 5, Paragraph <br /> 5.2. <br /> <br /> c. Dental. Fully paid premiums for dental insurance. <br /> <br /> d. Life Insurance. Fully paid premiums for life insurance <br /> with a value equal to twice the annual salary. <br /> <br /> e. Lonq Term Disability. Fully paid premiums for long term <br /> disability insurance. <br /> <br /> f. Vacation. Five weeks annual paid vacation. <br /> <br /> g. Holidays. The same holidays as established for city <br /> management employees. <br /> <br /> h. Retirement System. Membership in the State Public <br /> Employees Retirement,Systems (PERS). <br /> <br /> i. Vehicle Allowance. A vehicle allowance of $200 per <br /> month for reimbursement of expenses related to use of <br /> private vehicle for city business. <br /> <br /> j. Administrative Leave. Seven days administrative leave <br /> per fiscal year not to be taken in conjunction with <br /> annual vacation and to be reimbursed twice each year, <br /> January and July, if not taken. <br /> <br /> k. Sick Leave. Shall be entitled to same sick leave <br /> benefit as provided other management employees as <br /> described in the Management and Confidential <br /> Compensation Plan, Section 6.5. <br /> <br /> <br />
