CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-385 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING A COMPENSATION PLAN <br /> ESTABLISHING THE SALARY AND SUPPI.RMENTARY <br /> BENEFITS FOR CITY MANAGER JAMES R. WALKER <br /> AND AMENDING THE BUDGET ACCORDINGLY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to set the <br /> salary and supplementary benefits for the position <br /> of City Manager; ;and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the salary and supplementary benefits for City <br /> Manager Walker were set July 5, 1988, effective <br /> May 13, 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city Council is desirous of changing the <br /> current compensation for City Manager James R. <br /> Walker. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The salary and supplementary benefits for City <br /> Manager James R. Walker, effective July 1, 1989, <br /> shall be as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto <br /> and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The salary and supplementary benefits set forth <br /> in Resolution No. 88-328 are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 3: The 1989-90 Budget of the City of Pleasanton is <br /> amended accordingly. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
