Exhibit "A" <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />BSK & Associates shall provide geotechnical and material testing services <br />including but not limited to the following: <br />1. Soils foundation investigations, geological/seismic hazardous studies, slide <br />stability analysis and repair recommendations, geotechnical engineering <br />..consultation and environmental site assessments. <br />2. Materials to be tested include: <br />• Native soils for street and roadway sub-grade preparation and trench <br />backfill. <br />• Imported trench backfill. <br />• Aggregate base rock for street, roadway, driveway and sidewalks <br />• Asphalt concrete for street, roadway and pathways. <br />• Concrete for pavement, driveways and sidewalks. <br />• Steel for miscellaneous traffic control and building structures. <br />3. Earthwork and installation of construction materials shall be observed and <br />assessed and recommendations provided as necessary. <br />4. Types of tests to be conducted as applicable to the material being tested <br />shall include: compaction, density, moisture, sieve analysis, R value <br />compression and tensile strength and all other tests listed in the City's <br />quality assurance program deemed necessary by the City Engineer for <br />each project. <br />6 <br />
