Dowling Associates, Inc. <br />Transportation Engineering • Planning• Research • Education <br />Unsignalized stop controlled intersections are evaluated using the methodology <br />from Chapter 17 of the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), Transportation Research <br />Board, 2000. This method calculates a level of service for each approach and an <br />overall average intersection LOS based on average vehicle delay times.
