CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-380 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS - <br /> SLURRY SEAL OF VARIOUS CITY STREETS, <br /> PROJECT NO. 885019C, AND APPROVAL OF <br /> FINkL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO McREYNOLDS <br /> PAVING, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by McReynolds Paving, Inc. on the Slurry Seal <br /> of Various City Streets, Project No. 885019C, has <br /> been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the slurry seal of various City <br /> streets is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $45,101.68 in favor of <br /> McReynold Paving, Inc. in satisfaction of the final <br /> progress payment for the above-accepted work on <br /> Project No. 885019C. Ten percent (10%) of the <br /> total contract or $5,011.30 will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Clerk is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
