PUD-93-02-09M
2001 Ruby Hill Boulevard
b) A drainage channel bisects the property. It is an open concrete-lined channel on the subject site
flowing from south to north, piped under Vineyard Avenue connecting to the Arroyo. It is not a
riparian corridor. The existing building would be relocated 50 feet from the bank of the channel.
Therefore, this would be aless-than-significant-impact.
e) All existing trees on the site would be preserved. Therefore, this would be a less-than-
significant-impact.
f) There is no Habitat Conservation Plan for the area. Therefore, this would be no-impact.
5. CULTURAL RESOURCES
Environmental Setting
The subject site is not located in an area identified as having site-specific historical, archeological,
paleontological, or geologic features or resources. The City of Pleasanton has, however, experienced
development locations where archeological resources have been found in the form of Native American
burial sites. The City now has a policy that all projects incorporate into project design and as conditions
of approval that provide on-site expertise during the construction phase.
Standards of Significance
For purposes of this environmental document, an impact is considered significant if the proposed project
would:
• Cause a substantial change in the significance of a historical or archeological resource as defined
in the CEQA Guidelines Section 15064.5; or,
• Directly or indirectly destroy a unique paleontological resource or site or unique geologic feature.
Less Than
Significant
Potentially With Less Than
Significant Mitigation Significant No
Issues Impact Incorporated Impact Impact
Cultural Resources
Would the project:
a) Cause a substantial adverse change in the ^ ^ ^ X^
significance of a historical resource as defined in
§15064.5?
b) Cause a substantial adverse change in the ^ ^ ^ ^
significance of an archaeological resource pursuant to
§15064.5?
c) Directly or indirectly destroy a unique ^ ^ Q ^
Paleontological resource or site or unique geologic
feature?
d) Disturb any human remains, including those ^ ^ X^ ^
interred outside of formal cemeteries?
12
