CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-379 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDINGRESOLUTION NO. 76-79 <br /> (ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR <br /> CITY STREETS) BY AMENDING SECTION 6 (NO <br /> PARKING ZONES) TO ELIMINATE CURB PARKING <br /> ON SANTA RITA ROAD BETWEEN ROSEWOOD DRIVE <br /> AND OLD SANTA RITA ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted <br /> Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br /> Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended <br /> Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 5, 1989, the City <br /> Council received and discussed a report (SR 89:389) <br /> from the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> related to the elimination of curb parking on the <br /> northwest side of Santa Rita Road between Rosewood <br /> Drive and Old Santa Rita Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend <br /> Resolution No. 76-79 to by adding subsection 6s-12 <br /> to Section 6 (No Parking Zones); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br /> Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby <br /> amended by adding subsection 6s-12 to Section 6 (No <br /> Parking Zones) as follows: <br /> <br /> "6s-12 Santa Rita Road, on the northwest side of <br /> Santa Rita Road between Rosewood Drive and <br /> Old Santa Rita Road." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
