CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-378 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDINGRESOLUTION NO. 76-79 <br /> (ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR <br /> CITY STREETS) BY AMENDING SECTION 3 TO <br /> INST~LL STOP SIGNS ON MADEIRA DRIVE AT <br /> SYLVANER DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted <br /> Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br /> Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended <br /> Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 5, 1989, the City <br /> Council received and discussed a report (SR 89:390) <br /> from the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> related to installation of a stop sign on Madeira <br /> Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend <br /> Resolution No. 76-79 to establish a stop sign on <br /> Madeira Drive at its intersection with Sylvaner <br /> Drive; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br /> Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby <br /> amended by adding subsection 3m-7 to Section 3 <br /> (Stop Intersections) as follows: <br /> <br /> "3m-7 Madeira Drive, at Sylvaner Drive; stopping <br /> traffic on Madeira Drive in both directions." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br /> <br />
