RESOLUTION N0.07-120 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DECLARING <br />THE INTENT TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS FOR LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPE <br />MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1994-1, OAK TREE FARM (Pursuant to the Landscaping <br />and Lighting Act of 1972) <br />BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within <br />Landscape Maintenance District No. 1994-1, Oak Tree Farm, during fiscal year 2007-08. The <br />area of land to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br />SECTION 2. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally <br />described as follows: <br />The maintenance and repair of designated landscaped areas, open space slopes, fuel <br />transition zones (fire breaks), entry features, open space drainage ditches, irrigation <br />systems, trees in the open space and designated landscaped areas, and the furnishing <br />of water and power for irrigation systems, together with all appurtenant and incidental <br />expenses within Tract 6563 and 6748, and parcels B and C of Parcel map 6259, City of <br />Pleasanton. <br />SECTION 3. In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an <br />annual report, Philip A. Grubstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the report <br />required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to <br />that report for a full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the <br />assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. <br />SECTION 4. On Tuesday, the 19th day of June 2007, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City <br />Council will conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual <br />assessment. The hearing will be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, <br />Pleasanton, California. <br />SECTION 5. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing <br />required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. <br />SECTION 6. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into <br />the book of original resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on May 15, 2007. <br />
