CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 89-358 RESOLUTIONAPPROVING CASE PUD-85-8-4D, THE APPLICATION OF RETAIL PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY WHEREAS, Retail Property Development Company has applied for design review approval to construct a two-building, approximately 35,900 sq. ft. retail commercial complex to be located on the north side of Owens Drive approximately 400 feet east of the intersection of Chabot Drive and Owens Drive; and WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the development plan of the subject site including the typical architectural and site designs for individual lots, and there are no changed circumstances or new information requiring additional environmental review; therefore, this application does not constitute a new project under CEQA and no new environmental documents accompany this application; and WHEREAS a public hearing was held on June 20, 1989 and testimony taken concerning the proposed project including its design, cumulative impact, consistency with the zoning and the General Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council denied the application at its meeting of June 20, 1989, however, on July 18, 1989 Council adopted Resolution No. 89-324 to reconsider the item; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 15, 1989, a public hearing was held concerning the proposed project; and WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the project is consistent with PUD-85-8, as well as with the City's General Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Rescinds Resolution No. 89-280, denying the application of Retail Property Development.
