RESOLUTION NO. 89-352 <br /> <br /> OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> <br /> CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING FORMS OF AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN <br />IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT AND A TRUST AGREEMENT, APPROVING <br />ISSUANCE OF 1989 CERTIFICATES OF PARTICIPATION (CROSS-TOWN <br />SANITARY SEWER PROJECT), APPROVING SALE OF SAID CERTIFICATES <br />OF PARTICIPATION TO LOWEST BIDDER, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF NECESSARY CERTIFICATES AND TAKING OF NECESSARY ACTIONS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is a municipal <br />corporation and political subdivision of the State of <br />California (herein called the "City"); <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to reduce the costs of <br />construction, acquisition and financing of the Cross-Town <br />Sanitary Sewer Project (herein called the "Project"), and such <br />acquisition, construction and financing constitute <br />governmental affairs of the City; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City of Pleasanton Public Facilities <br />Corporation (herein called the "Corporation") is a nonprofit <br />corporation formed to render financial assistance to the City <br />by financing the acquisition, construction, improvement and <br />remodeling of public buildings and facilities for the City; <br /> <br /> <br />
