IN THE PL9NNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 31 <br />WHEREAS, an application of Foster and Kleiser Company, dated July 11, 1958 <br />has regularly come before this Planning Commission, and the applicant appearing <br />through Mr. Alfred J. Coxeter, who presented the proposal; and the matter <br />having been considered by the Planning Commission; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the application for a Conditional Zoning Permit by Foster and <br />Kleiser Company to construct an outdoor advertising sign on the easterly side <br />of Main Street near St. John Street is hereby respectfully denied for the <br />following reasons: <br />a) That the facts do not exist to justify the findings required by <br />Section 2.22 for conmmercial uses as set forth in Ordinance No. 276 <br />(Interim Zoning Ordinance.) <br />b) That the proposed use is not appropriate to nearby residential area. <br />c) That the proposed zoning ordinance will prohibit such uses within <br />100 feet of a residential zone. <br />DATED: Ju1~~17, 1958 <br />/, <br />V H.
