CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-323 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE TRAUMA SYSTEM <br /> FUNDING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 18, 1989, the City Manager <br /> presented a report (IR 89:49) regarding the <br /> proposed trauma system funding at $15.58 per <br /> benefit unit; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council supports the proposal to raise <br /> the county service area tax for 1989-90 to $15.58 <br /> per benefit unit (house equivalent) to provide <br /> funding for the paramedic service and for trauma <br /> system funding. Staff is directed to send a letter <br /> to the Board of Supervisors to that effect. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 18, 1989 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />By Peggy L.
