CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-328 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE <br /> ET~CTRICAL CONNECTION FOR EMERGENCY <br /> GENERATOR FOR WEIJs 5, 6, 7, AND VINEYARD <br /> BOOSTER PUMP STATION, PROJECT NO. 871909, <br /> AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO <br /> CUPERTINO E~CTRIC, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by Cupertino Electric, Inc. on the electrical <br /> connection for Emergency Generator for Wells 5, 6, <br /> 7, and Vineyard Booster Pump Station, Project No. <br /> 871909, has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the electrical connection for <br /> Emergency Generator for Wells 5, 6, 7, and Vineyard <br /> Booster Pump Station is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $21,098.25 in favor of <br /> Cupertino Electric, Inc. in satisfaction of the <br /> final progress payment for the above-accepted work <br /> on Project No. 871909. Ten percent (10%) of the <br /> total contract or $4,688.50 will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Clerk is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
