CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99-116 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 <br /> (ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY <br /> STREETS) TO ESTABLISH A 4-HOUR PARKING ZONE ON <br /> PLEASANTON AVENUE SOUTH OF THE ALAMEDA <br /> COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS PARKING LOT ENTRANCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution <br /> Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 3, 1999, the City Council received and discussed a report <br /> (SR 99:231) from the Director of Public Works related to a request to create a <br /> 4-hour parking zone on Pleasanton Avenue south of the Alameda County <br /> Fairgrounds Parking Lot entrance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution No. 76-79, Section 15 <br /> (Four Hour Zones). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City <br /> Streets) is hereby amended by adding subsection 15p to Section 15 to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> "15p Pleasanton Avenue, on the east side, 200 feet north of Bernal Avenue and <br /> extending to the southem edge of the Alameda County Fairground Parking Lot." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
