CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99-111 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE COST ACCOUNTING <br /> REPORT FOR THE 1999 WEED ABATEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an itemized written report showing the cost of nuisance abatement on a lot by lot <br /> basis throughout the City of Pleasanton for those lots upon or in front of which <br /> weeds existed and were not abated voluntarily by the owners thereof, was <br /> presented before the City Council at its meeting of August 17, 1999. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The costs of the abatement are deemed by law to constitute a special assessment <br /> against and a lien upon the parcel of property and shall be added by the <br /> Treasurer-Tax Collector to the next regular tax bill for each parcel as stated on the <br /> written report received from the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 23, 1999 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmember Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Peggy~L.//Ez~d;o, Ci6(Cierk <br /> <br />Michael H.
