CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-237 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SELECTING "ANDERSON STREET" AS THE <br />NAME FOR THE CONNECTOR STREET BETWEEN ROSE <br />AVENUE AND DIVISION STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />as part of the Railroad Consolidation Agreement, various <br />improvements have been constructed which provide for <br />safer vehicular circulation patterns, one of which is <br />construction of a street linking Rose Avenue and Division <br />Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of December 11, 1990, the Director of <br />Planning and Community Development presented his report <br />(SR 90:489) presenting suggested names for the new <br />street; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Council hereby selects "Anderson Street" for <br />the new connector street between Rose Avenue and Division <br />Street (adjacent to the Southern Pacific Railroad Right- <br />of-Way) in honor of one of Pleasanton's historic <br />families. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 11, 1990 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver, and <br /> <br /> ATTEST <br /> <br />Michael H.
