RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS, <br />LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1994-1, OAK TREE FARM <br />(Pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972) <br />BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, <br />DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Landscape Maintenance <br />District No. 1994-1, Oak Tree Farm, during fiscal year 2007-08. The area of land to be assessed is located in <br />the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br />SECTION 2. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as <br />follows: <br />The maintenance and repair of designated landscaped areas, open space slopes, fuel transition zones <br />(fire breaks), entry features, open space drainage ditches, irrigation systems, trees in the open space <br />and designated landscaped areas, and the furnishing of water and power for irrigation systems, <br />together with all appurtenant and incidental expenses within Tract 6563 and 6748, and parcels B and C <br />of Parcel map 6259, City of Pleasanton. <br />SECTION 3. In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, Philip <br />A. Grubstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the report required by the Landscaping and <br />Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a full and detailed description of the <br />improvements, the boundaries of the assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the <br />assessment district. <br />SECTION 4. On Tuesday, the 19th day of June 2007, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City Council will <br />conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual assessment. The hearing will be <br />located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. <br />SECTION 5. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by the <br />Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. <br />SECTION 6. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of <br />original resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular <br />meeting held on May 15, 2007. <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing resolution was <br />adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of May, 2007, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Michael H.
