RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS, <br />LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1984-1, PONDEROSA <br />(Pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972) <br />BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, <br />DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Landscape Maintenance <br />District No. 1984-1 during fiscal year 2007-08. The area of land to be assessed is located in the City of <br />Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br />SECTION 2. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as <br />follows <br />Maintenance of a landscaped strip north of Corte de Flores on the west side of Paseo Santa Cruz and <br />north of Corte Pacifica on the east side of Paseo Santa Cruz. <br />SECTION 3. In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, Philip <br />A. Grubstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the report required by the Landscaping and <br />Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a full and detailed description of the <br />improvements, the boundaries of the assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the <br />assessment district. <br />SECTION 4. On Tuesday, the 19th day of June 2007, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City Council will <br />conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual assessment. The hearing will be <br />located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. <br />SECTION 5. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by the <br />Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. <br />SECTION 6.
