RESOLUTION N0.07-109 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE "EVERYIHOME" ALAMEDA COUNTYWIDE <br />HOMELESS AND SPECIAL NEEDS HOUSING PLAN <br />WHEREAS, chronic homelessness is amulti-dimensional problem that goes beyond the <br />City's borders and any one service system; and <br />WHEREAS, the Every1 Home Plan provides an opportunity to work more closely with our <br />community and regional partners, to participate in a national model and countywide strategies to <br />end homelessness, and to coordinate and leverage resources; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 1, 2007, the City Council reviewed the report of the <br />Assistant City Manager regarding the proposed endorsement of the Every1 Home Alameda <br />Countywide Homeless and Special Needs Housing Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. Council endorses the Everyi Home Alameda Countywide Homeless and <br />Special Needs Housing Plan. <br />SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into <br />the book of original resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on May 1, 2007. <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 1ST of May, 2007, <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None ,-,!/ ^. <br />Karerh Diaz, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />~~~~ ~ s~ <br />Michael H.
