CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 90-232 RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ALIGNMENT AND STREET CROSS-SECTION - STANLEY BOULRVARD AND DEL V~?Wm PARKWAY WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton desires to establish preliminary alignments and street cross-sections for portions of the two major thoroughfares located at Stanley Boulevard from the First Street bridge to California Avenue and Del Valle Parkway from Stanley Boulevard - First Street intersection to Bernal Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on October 24, 1990, and made the required findings and recommendations concerning same; and WHEREAS, since both streets were assessed from an environmental impact standpoint at the planned widths/alignments in the General Plan EIR and no new information or changed circumstances warrant further analysis at this time, no further CEQA review is required; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on December 11, 1990 at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and WHEREAS, property owners along the south side of Stanley Boulevard asked the Council to incorporate slight changes to the alignment if Alternative 1 were selected and to work collaboratively with them to ease the effects of the road alignment on their businesses and properties; and WHEREAS, the City Council makes the following findings: The proposed Stanley Boulevard section (Alternative 1, 116 ft. consistent with the General Plan; alignment and section) are That the proposed Del Valle Parkway alignment and section (Alternative B, 64.5 ft. section) are consistent with the policies of the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
