CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 90-229 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF CHEVRON USA AS FILRD UNDER CASE Z-90-74 (AP-90-14) WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 11, 1990, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for the application of Chevron USA for design review approval to replace an existing Chevron automobile service and repair station with a 24-hour self-serve Chevron station, an automatic car wash, and a 920 sq. ft. food mart on an approximately 24,543 sq. ft. site located on the southwesterly corner of Hopyard Road and Owens Drive; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated October 23, 1990 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed design review approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed design review approval would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application of Chevron USA for design review approval to replace an existing Chevron automobile service and repair station with a 24-hour self-serve Chevron station, an automatic car wash, and a 920 sq. ft. food mart on an approximately 24,543 sq. ft. site located on the southwesterly corner of Hopyard Road and Owens Drive. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
