CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-229 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF CHEVRON USA AS FILRD <br />UNDER CASE Z-90-74 (AP-90-14) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of December 11, 1990, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for the <br />application of Chevron USA for design review approval to <br />replace an existing Chevron automobile service and repair <br />station with a 24-hour self-serve Chevron station, an <br />automatic car wash, and a 920 sq. ft. food mart on an <br />approximately 24,543 sq. ft. site located on the <br />southwesterly corner of Hopyard Road and Owens Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated October 23, 1990 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed design review <br />approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and <br />Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed design review <br />approval would not have any significant adverse effects <br />on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Approves the Negative Declaration for the application <br />of Chevron USA for design review approval to replace an <br />existing Chevron automobile service and repair station <br />with a 24-hour self-serve Chevron station, an automatic <br />car wash, and a 920 sq. ft. food mart on an approximately <br />24,543 sq. ft. site located on the southwesterly corner <br />of Hopyard Road and Owens Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
