CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-219 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENTFOR PARK <br />MAINTENANCE WORKER FOR SPORTS PARK FIELDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 20, 1990, the City Council <br />reviewed a staff report (SR 90:456) presented by the <br />Director of Parks and community Services regarding a <br />request from the youth sport organizations for the city <br />to provide additional maintenance and preparation of the <br />Sports Park fields; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />after consideration of the report and all testimony, it <br />was determined by Council that it is appropriate to hire <br />one additional full-time park maintenance position; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTONRESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council authorizes one additional full-time park <br /> maintenance position at this time, with the understanding <br /> that a portion or all of the costs therefor may be offset <br /> by a fee for service, and amends the budget accordingly. <br /> <br />Section 2: A Task Force comprised of two Park and Recreation <br /> Commissioners and representatives of each of the youth <br /> sport organizations be formed to review the issue of a <br /> fee for service and to prepare recommendations for <br /> Council consideration. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 20, 1990 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br />Mercer <br /> <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Michael H.
