CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-217 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND <br />USE ELRMENTDESIGNATION OF THE GENERAL PLANOF <br />A NINE ACRE PORTION OF THE SITE LOCATED AT <br />10890 DUBLIN CANYON ROAD (GP-90-7) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />S & S Properties (Westbrook) has made application to <br />change the Land Use Element designation of the General <br />Plan for a nine acre portion of a fourteen acre site <br />located at 10890 Dublin Canyon Road from the "Low Density <br />Residential" to the "Medium Density Residential" <br />District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on the <br />proposed change and made recommendations concerning the <br />same; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held on November 20, <br />1990, at which time the City Council reviewed the <br />proposed General Plan Amendment and considered all <br />reports, documents, testimony, and recommendations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration <br />was appropriate for the proposed General Plan Amendment <br />and adopted Resolution NO. 90-216 approving the Negative <br />Declaration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council desires to make a change to the Land Use <br />Element of the General Plan at this time as one of the <br />four times during the calendar year such changes may be <br />made. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Council approves the application of S & S <br />Properties (Westbrook) for an amendment to the Land Use <br />Element of the General Plan to change the designation of <br />approximately nine acre portion of a fourteen acre site <br />located at 10890 Dublin Canyon Road from "Low Density <br />Residential" to "Medium Density Residential." <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> The City Council determines that this is one of the <br />four times in 1990 that the land use element of the <br />General Plan is amended as authorized by Government Code <br />§65631. <br /> <br /> <br />
