CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-214 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF JAY AND KYOUNG KU, <br />FI?~D UNDER CASE PUD-90-7, FOR A 70-ROOM <br />SENIOR CARE FACILITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 20, 1990, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for the <br />application of Jay and Kyoung Ku for Planned Unit <br />development rezoning and development plan approval to <br />construct a two-story, approximately 48,000 sq.ft., 70- <br />room senior care facility to be located on an <br />approximately 1.5 acre site located on the north side of <br />Mohr Avenue immediately westerly of the former Southern <br />Pacific Railroad right-of-way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated July 10, 1990 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning and <br />development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and <br />Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning and <br />development plan would not have any significant adverse <br />effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Approves the Negative Declaration for the application <br />of Jay and Kyoung Ku, filed under Case PUD-90-7, for <br />Planned Unit development rezoning and development plan <br />approval to construct a two-story, approximately 48,000 <br />sq. ft., 70-room senior care facility to be located on an <br />approximately 1.5 acre site located on the north side of <br />Mohr Avenue immediately westerly of the former Southern <br />Pacific Railroad right-of-way. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
