CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-213 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADDING AN AGENDA ITEM REGARDING <br />MEMBERSHIP FOR THE RIDGELANDS COMMITTEE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the city Council has previously established a citizens <br />committee to study the uses of the Pleasanton Ridgelands; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on November 19, 1990, the citizens committee met and at <br />that meeting various persons expressed a desire to become <br />part of the committee; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council must authorize that the committee be re- <br />opened; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Brown Act permits the Council to add an item to the <br />agenda upon a two-thirds vote of the Council that the <br />item arose after the time the agenda was posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this particular matter did not arise until after the <br />agenda was posted and is a matter which warrants <br />discussion and possible action prior to the Council's <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Based on the findings set forth above, a motion to open <br />the membership of the Ridgelands Committee for Pleasanton <br />residents only is added to the November 20, 1990 agenda <br />for Council consideration and action. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 20, 1990 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO ,~RM: ~ <br /> <br />Michael H.
