4y$~,SA~Vjo,L <br />CITY of PLEASANTON <br />.~ <br />`~~~° Plannin Commission <br />~wr~o ~ g <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DCte ; June 10, 1970 <br />Time : 8:10 PM <br />PIaCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />It was the intention of the Commission to <br />hear all testimony regarding this proposal, <br />then conduct a brief question and answer <br />period, after which the matter would be <br />continued to June 24 for presentation of <br />the staff reports. <br />Mr. Dudley Frost, representing Morrison <br />Homes, introduced himself and gave a brief <br />description of the development. <br />Mr. Frost then introduced his chief archi- <br />tect, Mr. Charles Delk. <br />Mr. Delk, in his presentation, presented <br />renderings which graphically depicted the <br />proposal. <br />The concept presented consists of four <br />separate housing needs - Parkview, Townhouse <br />Garden Court and Zero Lot Line. <br />A variety of from two to four bedrooms <br />would be offered. Further information was <br />presented. <br />Mr. Norman Strangard, Land Planning Director <br />for the project, spoke, describing his role <br />in the development. <br />Mr. John Niceley, another architect involvec <br />with this development, also spoke. <br />Mr. Tom Baak, landscape architect, next <br />described for the Commissioners the land- <br />scaping they chose for the four different <br />housing types, the recreational areas, the <br />open spaces and the buffer areas. <br />Mr. Delk then summarized all the factors <br />involved with the entire development. Also, <br />it was requested that the renderings could <br />be displayed at City Hall for the benefit <br />of the citizens. <br />Mr. Frost offered the closing remarks, <br />- 2 - <br />
