CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 90-202 RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE SHORT-RANGE TRANSIT PLAN (SRTP) OF THE LIVERNORE/~M, ADOR VALLEY TRANSIT AUTHORITY (LAVTA) FOR FISCAL YEARS 1990-91 TO 1996-97 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is committed to meeting the mobility needs of the community; and WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is a member jurisdiction of the Livermore/Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA); and WHEREAS, the City Council has regularly reviewed for endorsement LAVTA's short-range transit plans; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the current draft SRTP for FY 1990-91 to 1996-97; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Short-Range Transit Plan of the Livermore/Amador Valley Transit Authority for Fiscal Years 1990-91 to 1996-97 is hereby endorsed with the following recommendations: That further evaluation be done to determine the preferred routing of Route 1/5 to link Dublin/Pleasanton with Las Positas College. That schedule compatibility between LAVTA, Central Contra Costa Transit Authority, and BART be reviewed to ensure transfers can be made at regional transfer interface points. That any further investigation of consolidation with Pleasanton's paratransit service be conducted with the intent to maintain the existing service level, and that before any action is taken a full public hearing be held before the City Council and the Human Services Commission Transportation Committee. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
