No. 1051 <br />MEETING. <br />Court <br />The City Attorney explained that a continu- <br />ance should be effected on the Exotic Anima <br />Ordinance draft proposed by the Alameda <br />County Field Services Department, as more <br />time is needed to study this worthwhile <br />addition to the present proposed amendment <br />the ordinance for Household Pets. <br />The City Attorney noted the change in the <br />last section of the proposed draft of the <br />ordinance to make perfectly clear that the <br />nuisance provision apply to any animal that <br />may be kept on the premises, even if it did <br />not fall in the category of household pets. <br />Basically, the ordinance allows for two <br />animals in the multiple family district and <br />no specific number limit for the single- <br />family district, the control lying in the <br />interpretation of what constitutes a nuisan <br />and a problem to a neighborhood. <br />There were no comments from the audience, <br />and the Public Hearing was closed. <br />A resolution recommending approval of the <br />draft as defined by the City Attorney for <br />the regulation of Household Pets, as noted <br />in the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasa nton, was entered and passed. <br />Mackay Homes - application for conditional <br />use permit for an existing model home com- <br />plex with the addition of one cuodel and the <br />deletion of off-street parking on Lots 12-17 <br />Tract 3023. <br />The Public Hearing was opened by Chairma n <br />Garrigan. <br />Mr. Ted Fairfield introduced Mr. Bud Newman <br />with Mackay Homes and Mr. Marty Hess with <br />Dick Finnegan & Associates, architects. <br />~~\ <br />Resolution: <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes <br />,Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />x <br />XI X I X I X <br />- 4 - <br />
