Also the conditional use permit <br />which was for 100 beds. He spoke of the <br />added traffic to Neal Street, and stated tha <br />had he known the applicant would be request- <br />ing an expansion of his original use to <br />129 beds, he would not have voted for approv <br />of the original rezoning request. <br />Chairman Carrigan stated that although he ha <br />voted against the original rezoning request, <br />he did feel that this submittal was far more <br />workable. <br />Several resolutions were offered, which died <br />for lack of a majority vote or a second. <br />It was then decided to continue this applica <br />tion until Commissioner Pereira could be <br />present. The tapes would also be available <br />for him to listen to if he so desires. <br />A motion for continuance for two weeks was <br />entered and passed. <br />CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT <br />UP-69-5, continued <br />to Feb. 23, 1971. <br />William S. Carnazzo, M.D. - determination <br />of whether or not Dr. Carnazzo is operating <br />at 1598 Santa Rita Road within the confines <br />of the resolution approving his conditional <br />use peranit granted by the City Council on <br />April 7, 1969. <br />Acting Secretary Aiello requested that the <br />Commission make a determination as to a <br />definition of what constitutes an "emergen <br />In addition, clarification is needed on <br />whether the doctor does in fact reside at <br />1598 Santa Rita Road, which is a pertinent <br />consideration under the terms of his home <br />occupation conditional use permit. <br />- 5 - <br />
