4y`~sAN°y CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~ •~/ . ~ <br />4~ <br />~~° Planning Commission <br />~wwso s <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. ~ ~ ~~ <br />Date : October 12, 1971 <br />Time : 8:00 P.M. <br />Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Place; <br />MATTE R5 FOR Kortick Realty - zoning permit, 608 <br />COMMISSIONS Main Street, Pleasanton, California <br />REVIEW <br /> As this would be a temporary use, thi <br /> was brought before the Commission for <br /> approval. <br /> The Commission reviewed the history <br /> of this building and it was mentioned <br /> that this building is determined unfi <br /> for occupancy and is scheduled for <br /> demolition. <br /> It was unanimously felt by the <br /> Commission that this use should be <br /> denied. <br />CONDITIONAL Kreske & Myers Convalescent Hospital Res: <br />USE PERMIT request to extend conditional use Seconded: <br />Extension of permit, Neal Street, Pleasanton. Ayes: <br />UP-71-23, Approved Abstain: <br />Res. No. 1126 Commissioner Pereira recalled that on <br /> of the reasons the Commission was <br /> placed under pressure to expedite thi <br /> was because of certain allocations <br /> available from the Federal Government <br /> and insurance funding that was avail- <br /> able. This was one year ago and now <br /> is requested to be extended. <br /> Commissioner Hirst stated that part <br /> of the Commission's action at that <br /> time was to rezone this property to <br /> Public and Institutional. <br /> John Corley, representing the appli- <br /> cant was present and stated that this <br /> property was rezoned in two parts, <br /> the second in order to have a 129 be <br /> facility. Mr. Corley stated that in <br /> his conversations with Mr. Kreske he <br /> was assured that construction would <br /> begin by the end of the six month <br /> extension period. <br /> -7- <br />
