CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-197 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING THE LOWER-INCOME HOUSING <br />FEE AND RELATED CREDITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Council of the City of Pleasanton has adopted an <br />Ordinance establishing a lower-income housing fee, which <br />fee is to be set by City Council resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said Ordinance also provides for certain credits to be <br />provided to commercial, office or industrial developers <br />when those developers construct lower-income housing, the <br />amount of which credits are to be set by City Council <br />resolution. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The Fees and Charges Appendix of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding Section XIII <br />entitled Lower Income Housing Fee, to read as follows: <br /> <br />"XIII. Lower Income Housing Fee <br /> <br />The amount of the lower income housing fee as <br />created by Ordinance No. 1488 shall be as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. Residential DeveloDment Projects <br /> <br />Single-family unit, as defined <br />by the State Department of <br />Finance $1,800/unit <br /> <br />Multiple-family unit, as defined <br />by the State Department of <br />Finance $ 600/unit <br /> <br />Commercial, Office and Industrial <br />Development Projects <br /> <br />$.40/square foot of floor area, as <br />floor area is defined in the Uniform <br />Building Code. <br /> <br />The amount of the lower-income housing fee <br />credit as provided for in Section 17.40.060 of <br />the Pleasanton Municipal Code shall be $5,000 <br />per unit." <br /> <br /> <br />
