4v$~3A1yjoy <br />CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~~% . <br />`~~~~' Planning Commission <br />gMMfD <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date Aue~ust 8, 1972 <br />Time: 8:0o P.M. <br />PIOCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />MATTERS FOR <br />INFORMATION OF <br />COMMISSION <br />MATTERS INITIATED <br />BY COMMISSION <br />MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Pereira felt that per- <br />baps the Director of Parks and <br />Recreation should evaluate his <br />proposal more closely to make certain <br />that the basis upon which he is <br />predicating his fee schedule is <br />accurate and in conformance with what <br />the City will require, especially <br />in relation to Multiple Units. <br />Commissioner Pereira felt that it <br />had to be clarified in his own <br />mind that the number of 411 acres, <br />which is close to a 100 per cent <br />increase over the previous park dedi- <br />cation requirements is what the <br />City will need for park requirements. <br />It was the consensus of opinion that <br />Public Hearings should be held <br />on this matter and full discussion <br />and review given before the <br />Commission can make a recommendation <br />'to Council on this. <br />It was concluded that a memorandum <br />would be directed to Mr. Patton <br />from Mr. Castro explaining that <br />before the Commission can make a <br />recommendation, more input as to his <br />method of computing his formula is <br />clarified. <br />Discussion followed on an informal <br />meeting to be held between Mr. Castro <br />and the Commissioners for the middle <br />part of August. <br />ommissioner Pereira informed that <br />he Shell station on First Street <br />as storing junk cars. Mr. Castro <br />tated that he would look into it. <br />-19- <br />
