In order to keep your copy of the 1986 General
Plan up-to-date, you may wish to discard the previous
Housing Element and insert this newly adopted version.

The California Office of Housing and Community Development
has indicated that Pleasanton's Housing Element is in
compliance with State Housing Statutes. Also, The City has
received several commendations for its innovative
approaches to providing affordable housing and meeting its
share of regional housing needs. Should you wish more
information concerning The Housing Element or any other
housing issues, please feel free to call me at 415-484-
8023.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you those of
you who participated in formulating the City's housing
policies. Your suggestions have produced an excellent
example of housing policies and programs which can be used
as a model for other cities in California.

Should you wish more information concerning The Housing
Element or any other housing issues, please feel free to
call me at 415-484-8023.

Yours truly,
~r~
Principal Planner

Attachments:

1.
