CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-196 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING A REVISED HOUSING ELRMENT <br />BY APPROVING CASE GP-90-4 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />California State law requires all Bay Area cities to <br />update their Housing Elements in July 1990; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the California Department of Housing and Community <br />Development has reviewed the draft proposed Housing <br />Element, and with revisions, is expected to determine <br />that the proposed Housing Element is in compliance with <br />State statutes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Council received the <br />recommendations for approval <br />Element; and <br /> <br />Planning Commission's <br />of the proposed Housing <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Council adopted a negative declaration for the draft <br />proposed Housing Element at its duly noticed public <br />hearing of October 2, 1990 after considering all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that this proposed revised HoUsing <br />Element is consistent with the goals and policies of the <br />General Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The Housing Element as adopted in September, 1986 as <br />part of the City's General Plan, and as amended <br />thereafter, is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> A revised Housing Element of the General Plan is <br />adopted, and is on file with the Planning Department of <br />the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
