There were certain areas <br />excluded from the study district be- <br />cause final maps had been filed on th m <br />Secretary Castro indicated that the <br />properties on which final maps were <br />filed, had been removed and the balan e <br />on the undeveloped area placed in the <br />Study District. <br />Also, the City was aware that certain <br />grading and improvements were being <br />conducted in the Vintage Hills area. <br />Commissioner Pereira feels that the <br />parcels south of Vineyard Avenue are <br />problem areas which the City has had <br />for quite some time and suggested an <br />informal study session to review them <br />The Chairman reiterated his concern f r <br />change of zoning in areas where im- <br />provements have already taken place. <br />Commissioner Carrigan pointed out tha <br />this area has been under study for <br />quite some time. Also, that an ex- <br />tensive study was conducted on the si e <br />of shopping centers within the City. <br />-6- <br />
