Fo <br />971-72, the appraisal of the propert <br />ax-wise was $34,400. The proposed <br />ax appraisal figure for 1972-73 is <br />round $60,200. Believes the C-F <br />oning is good for that parcel. <br />ext Mr. Harry Elliott, Sr., owner of <br />he shopping center site, spoke. He <br />ndicated that he owns all of the lan <br />eing considered that evening with th <br />xception of the C-F parcel. There i <br />o connection whatsoever between the <br />wo property owners. <br />r. Elliott indicated that he is con- <br />tracting as quickly as the City will <br />llow him. in the Vintage Hills tract <br />nd has already put in substantial <br />mprovements. <br />n addition, Mr. Elliott clarified th <br />he commercial center was sold to the <br />s commercial land and not as multipl <br />r single family zoned land. <br />e conceded that 14 acres is too much <br />or a center. He indicated that he <br />ad submitted detailed plans for the <br />evelopment of that area, but upon <br />eview of these plans by Mr. Castro, <br />hey were not favored and the idea <br />as dropped. <br />r.
