Planning Commission <br />~wrao <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Da18 : October 24, 1972 <br />Time : 3:0o P.M. <br />PIaCe; Conference Room - City Hall <br />building permit being issued the <br />City body is responsible for filing <br />a report. The responsibility to <br />meet this requirement lies with the <br />City Council. <br />Discussion followed on the difference <br />of opinion taken by the two attorneys <br />Mr. Dale Hansen, contractor for the <br />project, offered his interpretation <br />of the environmental impact statement <br />requirements . <br />Mr. Bill Amis also spoke to the <br />application. <br />Rev. Vogt then wished to know if the <br />City would join them in requesting <br />an extension of the feasibility lette <br />from H.U.D. The answer was in the <br />affirmative . <br />Mrs. Margene Hellen did not understan <br />the difference which needed to be <br />made as to which projects required <br />environmental impact statements. <br />Explanation was made for her benefit. <br />Commissioner McLain informed the <br />Commissioners that he had taken the <br />applicant's environmental impact <br />report and submitted it to the <br />Housing Authority for review. He <br />felt that this should have been done <br />by the applicant. <br />It was the general consensus of <br />opinion among the Commissioners that <br />despite their intent to act on the <br />application that day, they felt <br />it was important they follow the <br />advice of their legal counsel. <br />-5- <br />
