gy~,~-samTOti CITY of PLEASANTON <br />.~; . <br />.~ <br />~~° Planning Commission <br />'~MMfO ~ <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING, <br />Otte : November 14 , 1972 <br />Time : 8:05 P.M. <br />PIOCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Secretary Castro indicated that he <br />had talked with the neighbor who woul <br />be affected, and they had no objectio s. <br />Accordingly, the Commission instructe <br />the staff to handle this matter ad- <br />ministratively. <br />c - Secretary Castro advised the Com- <br />mission that many requests come in fo <br />home occupations, and he is in need <br />of direction at this point as to <br />whether the Commission would wish to <br />continue with their rather strict <br />policy, or be willing to relax a litt e <br />on certain types of businesses. Es- <br />pecially, the staff needs direction <br />regarding the present fee of $75 for <br />babysitting operations. <br />It was recommended that this matter <br />be tabled to be reviewed by the full <br />Commission. <br />MATTERS INITIATED a - Chairman Pons inquired about the <br />COMMISSION MEMBERS garage conversion problem involving <br />Dr. Meiers at 1672 Calle Santiago. <br />Secretary Castro advised that he is <br />meeting with Dr. Meiers' attorney <br />on this matter shortly. <br />b - Commissioner McLain inquired on <br />the status of the illegal barbershop <br />signs. He was advised that the de- <br />partment simply does not have the <br />staff to police these matters at the <br />present time. <br />ADJOURNMENT IThe regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission was adjourned at 10:35 P.M <br />Ricardo J.
