q~~~sAN~oy C TY of <br />I PLEASANTdN <br />~- °° Planning Commission <br />....o . <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGte ; November 2 8 , 19 72 <br />Time : 8:0o P.M. <br />PIGCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />completed and Livingston & Blayn <br />recommendations, which will incl <br />the Camp Parks Area, made known. <br />A motion was then offered by Commis- <br />sioner Garrigan, seconded by Chairma <br />Pons and carried, recommending to <br />the City Council that the Planning <br />Commission supports the position <br />taken by the City Manager in his <br />letter dated September 2 7 , 19 72 , <br />addressed to the Valley Community <br />Services District; in addition, <br />that until the consultant to Pleasan <br />ton's General Plan has made known <br />his findings on the Camp Parks area, <br />the Commission will refrain from <br />further action on this matter. <br />Secretary Castro presented the infor <br />mati©n on the proposed projects for <br />fiscal 19'72-73. He explained that <br />these projects have already been ap- <br />proved by the City and are now eithe <br />scheduled for or in the implementati <br />stage. <br />Commissioner McLain voiced a comment <br />regarding the Pico Avenue extension. <br />He felt this was a very necessary <br />matter which should be high on the <br />priority list for implementation. <br />The traffic situation in the southeas <br />section of the City is extremely bad. <br />Commissioner Garrigan concurred and <br />pointed out another area which can <br />be added on the priority list, that <br />being Vineyard Avenue widening. <br />Motion <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />-6- <br />(Capital Improvement Program - Fiscal I <br />1972-1973. <br />
