CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
Dots ~ April 24, 1973
Time : 8: oo P.M.
Pleasanton Justice Court
Pivc~:
Commissioner Carrigan commended Com-
missioner McLain for his submittal
of revised agenda format. It is
comprehensive and workable.
MATTERS FOR INFOR-
MATION OF COMMISSION
Commissioner McLain requested an
amendment to add that the agendas
be placed in a conspicuous location
at the entrance of the justice hall
chambers in order that the public cap
pick them up without having to walk
to the front.
In addition, members of the press
sometimes are not able to secure
seats in the front in order to hear
proceedings, and it was recommended
by Commissioner McLain that a table
be set in the front between the
podium and the Commissioners' seats
for the press . The other Commission-
ers did not accept this idea.
The motion was amended by Commission-
er Carrigan, seconded by Chairman
Pons and carried, accepting the
new agenda format and also to pro-
vide a table in the foyer for the
agendas and "request to speak" forms
before the Planning Commission.
Secretary Castro advised the Com-
mission that a new CBD Revitaliza-
tion Committee is now in the forma-
tion stages. He is appointing
15 members, one of whom should be a
Planning Commissioner.
Commissioner McLain offered to be
that member and was duly appointed.
-8-
