"~" CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DOtO : April 24, 1973
Time ; 8:00 P.M.
Place; Pleasanton Justice Court
being utilized and what kind of a
system did the Commission have in
mind.
The Commissioners wished that consi-
deration be given to applications
where a proposal will be developed
on an improved lot versus a filed
final map with no improvements.
Secretary Castro indicated that ther
may be problems with this sort of
arrangement as property owners withi
undeveloped areas have also paid
heavily in assessments. Discussion
followed.
Commissioner Pereira had doubts abou
just setting this application aside
because of lack of sewer availabilit
and this feeling was reiterated by
Commissioner Garrigan.
Chairman Pons verified from the City
Attorney that a design review appli-
cation can only be considered on
those merits, and is it proper for
the Commis;~ion to deny an applica-
tion based on the City's •inability
to provide sewer service. He recom-
mended a two-week continuance.
Commissioner Garrigan recommended a
postponement pending the City Attor-
ney settling the question of para-
meters of design review and for
the staff to work out an equitable
priority system for improved lots
which have received design review
approval .
A motion was offered by
Garrigan and seconded by
Pereira, continuing this
for 90 days.
Commi s s Tone r
Commissione:
application
-5-
