CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date : November 21 , 1973 <br />Time : 7:30 P.M. <br />PIaCS; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />indicate that if the City Attorney <br />wished to revise the wording to some <br />more appropriate language, it would <br />be permissible . 1 d - delete' "forbi~ <br />to "restrict." <br />Page 9 (f), delete "riding" and <br />substitute "equestrian." <br />Page 25 - refer to possibility of <br />limited development on steeply slop- <br />ing land but with the following word• <br />ing: add - "that certain parcels of <br />land shown on the plan map as reserve <br />for reasons of public health and <br />safety and which are portions of <br />water and sewer assessment districts <br />which were set up in contemplation <br />of that land ultimately being de- <br />veloped for low density single <br />family uses, that these properties <br />may be considered for low density <br />single family residential develop- <br />ment if it can be demonstrated to the <br />satisfaction of technically qualifies <br />personnel approved by the City that <br />the land could safely serve as the <br />site for structures intended for <br />human occupancy and would not have <br />a detrimental effect on the environ- <br />ment." <br />Senior Planner Harris indicated he <br />thought there may be problems with <br />this added wording. He expressed <br />concern about access on a steep <br />hill site. <br />Discussion followed. <br />Commissioner McLain referred to the <br />question of the holding capacity as <br />it corresponds to the land use map. <br />How can it adhere to any holding <br />capacity figure one arrives at? <br />.d <br />-26- <br />
