He concluded by saying that a representative Erom Graham-Hitch would be attending the lomeowners meeting on April 22. He had no objections to continuing this hearing. Mr. Joseph Sitzman, 7199 Valley Trails Drive spoke in opposition to this application and presented a package of letters from resident of the area who opposed this proposal. Mr. Don Johnston, 7187 Valley Trails Drive, felt that aesthetically speaking, this use would be unappealing at its proposed loca- tion, since it is just across the street fr the Youth Sports Park. ~~There being no further testimony, the hear- ~~ing was continued to the next meeting. GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT'Application of the Planning Commission of t'. GP-74-S, Approved, City of Pleasanton for an amendment to they Res. 1290 General Plan for that area bounded by Stand !Boulevard on the north, Main Street on the 'west, the Arroyo del Valle on the south and r~the City Limits on the east. Secretary Harris explained the reason for this amendment. This is an outgrowth of an application fora "saddlery" shop, which is not now allowed in the C-F District, the present zoning for this area. The recommend tion is to change the zoning to C-S. He stressed that no existing uses would have to vacs to the premises, with the zone change. The. Public Hearing was opened. Mr. Bill Gale questioned what this property encompassed and where the City limits are., His secretary lives in the vicinity.
