CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-191 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING <br />TRANSPORTATION SURVEY <br /> <br />A HOME-BASED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has demonstrated its commitment to <br />effective traffic management through the adoption of the <br />Transportation Systems Management (TSM) Ordinance on <br />October 2, 1984; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an annual survey is conducted of employees in Pleasanton <br />to monitor the effectiveness of the TSM program and to <br />help plan transportation facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />to provide an adequate roadway network, it is important <br />to understand how the transportation system is used by <br />all Pleasanton residents including those not employed in <br />Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City has the opportunity to participate in a home- <br />based transportation survey in cooperation with the North <br />Pleasanton Improvement District and Prudential. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Council supports the home-based transportation <br />survey to be conducted in October 1990 and encourages all <br />residents to participate in the survey. <br /> <br />Section 2: The survey will be a cooperative effort with the City <br /> handling distribution. <br /> <br /> <br />
