,.,""'°~ CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date ; August 19, 1974 <br />Time : 4:40 P.M. <br />PIOCe; Civic Center Conference Room <br />Rnr.r. ~Ar.r. <br />APPROVAL OF <br />MINUTES <br />Commissioners Present : Pons , Wood, <br />and Chairman Pereira. <br />Commissioners Absent: Carrigan and <br />McLain. <br />No minutes were submitted for <br />approval. <br />Selection of redevelopment project <br />area(s) and acceptance of p relimina <br />plan for referral to the Redevelop- <br />ment Agency of the City of Pleasant <br />Members of the Press were notified <br />of this special meeting and the <br />Pleasanton Times and Herald and News <br />were represented. <br />The Chairman explained that at the <br />last meeting of the Commission on <br />August 14, 1974, summarization of <br />the rede velopment p roject was made b~ <br />the Director of Housing and Community <br />Development. At this meeting, the <br />Commission will select the redevelop- <br />ment project area or areas and revieH <br />and accept, if it pleases the Com- <br />mission members, the preliminary <br />redevelopment plan for the City. <br />(Because Commissioner Pons was absent <br />at the August 14, 1974 meeting, <br />(Director of Housing and Community <br />'Development John Bowling gave the <br />...background of the intent of the <br />redevelopment agency. <br />At the last meeting of the Redevelop- <br />ment Agency, they chose the survey <br />area, within which boundary the <br />designated project area (s) would <br />need to be chosen. <br />Reso . <br />Sec: <br />Ayes: <br />• Noes <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />
