CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DG18 : December 11 , 1974 <br />Time : 8:18 P.M. <br />PIGCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />He expressed surprise that the 1974 <br />plan shows 20 acres more office, but <br />that none is reflected on his proper• <br />ty, which is being recommended for a <br />decreased amount. <br />Commissioner Butler asked Mr. Karn <br />that if Willow West does end up with <br />12 acres office, how would that be <br />set up. Mr. Karn stated that they <br />would take the northern 12 acres. <br />Commissioner Doherty asked Mr. Karn <br />if they had any specific clients at <br />this time. Mr. Karn indicated that <br />a lot of other problems would need <br />to be resolved first before develop- <br />ment could occur. <br />Mr. John di Manto then spoke. He <br />stated that on several occasions the' <br />have had inquiries, from organizatio: <br />such as Charlie Brown, Hyatt House, <br />Smuggler's Inn. But because of pro- <br />blems existing, they have totally <br />withdrawn solicitations. National <br />companies such as Johnson & Johnson, <br />Hewlett Packard, etc., also have bee: <br />negotiated with, but at this time, <br />they have nothing definite. <br />Commissioner Carrigan then attempted <br />to explain the history of this pro- <br />perty , <br />Considerable discussion ensued be- <br />tween the Commissioner's, Mr. Karn an <br />Secretary Harris on the acreage the <br />applicant specifically has in each <br />commercial designation. <br />Chairman Wood felt that a compromise <br />should be made, that he, personally, <br />would like to send this item back to <br />-12- <br />
