CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DG18 : December 11 , 1974
Time : 8:18 P.M.
PIGCe: Pleasanton Justice Court
He expressed surprise that the 1974
plan shows 20 acres more office, but
that none is reflected on his proper•
ty, which is being recommended for a
decreased amount.
Commissioner Butler asked Mr. Karn
that if Willow West does end up with
12 acres office, how would that be
set up. Mr. Karn stated that they
would take the northern 12 acres.
Commissioner Doherty asked Mr. Karn
if they had any specific clients at
this time. Mr. Karn indicated that
a lot of other problems would need
to be resolved first before develop-
ment could occur.
Mr. John di Manto then spoke. He
stated that on several occasions the'
have had inquiries, from organizatio:
such as Charlie Brown, Hyatt House,
Smuggler's Inn. But because of pro-
blems existing, they have totally
withdrawn solicitations. National
companies such as Johnson & Johnson,
Hewlett Packard, etc., also have bee:
negotiated with, but at this time,
they have nothing definite.
Commissioner Carrigan then attempted
to explain the history of this pro-
perty ,
Considerable discussion ensued be-
tween the Commissioner's, Mr. Karn an
Secretary Harris on the acreage the
applicant specifically has in each
commercial designation.
Chairman Wood felt that a compromise
should be made, that he, personally,
would like to send this item back to
-12-
